Ms. Gorospe is a California Certified Public Accountant and a VTD Partner. She provides audit and accounting services to a broad range of entities including local governments, not-for-profit organizations and various business entities. Her current practice is focused on the audit and accounting requirements for K-12 school Districts and county offices of education throughout California. Ms. Gorospe has an in-depth knowledge of the federal and state compliance requirements associated with educational entities receiving federal and state funding.
As the requirements for single audits under OMB A-133 have continued to change, Ms. Gorospe has been one of the providers of training to our staff and to our clients to ensure continuing compliance with regulations. Ms. Gorospe has been a featured speaker at the CalCPA Education Foundation’s annual School District Conference providing updates and guidance to Firm’s providing audit services to K-12 school districts. Her expertise in this area has been recognized by her peers both within VTD and others throughout the industry.
The VTD Training program has been significantly overseen by Ms. Gorospe to ensure all staff of the Firm are knowledgeable in the required accounting and compliance requirements and they are able to communicate changes in requirements to our clients.
Ms. Gorospe is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA).
