Mr. Ravano is a California Certified Public Accountant and a partner with VTD. With over forty-eight years of experience in public accounting, Mr. Ravano provides accounting, tax and litigation support services to clients throughout California.
Prior to joining VTD in 2003, Mr. Ravano was a partner in the firm Pearson, Del Prete & Co., LLP where for over thirty-three years he developed his expertise in providing accounting, tax and advisory services to individuals, corporations and not-for-profit organizations. That expertise has continued to be provided to his current tax and accounting clients.
Mr. Ravano has earned his clients trust resolving issues related to complex tax matters, estate planning and resolution of examinations with the Internal Revenue Services. His clients have benefited from the expertise that develops through research and hand-on technical knowledge.
In addition to his tax practice, Mr. Ravano has provided advisory services in the areas of litigation support; developing depositions for attorneys and serving as a court advisor. He has assisted in providing estate planning consultations and trust advisory services.
Mr. Ravano is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA). He is also active in the community as a board member of the One Hundred Club of San Mateo County, and is also serving as a board member of the San Carlos Youth Center Foundation . Mr. Ravano is a past Board Member for the San Carlos Civic Center Authority and a past officer of the Kiwanis Club of San Carlos where he received the Kiwanian of the Year Award.
