Ms. Loken is a California Certified Public Accountant and a partner with VTD. Her primary area of practice is in providing audit and accounting and advisory services to community banks throughout California. She has developed her area of expertise over the past ten years by working directly with management and the boards of community banks to ensure compliance with the ever-changing regulatory environment.
Ms. Loken has worked with financial institutions from the De Novo start up stage up to community banks with assets in excess of $500 million. A number of her clients are registrants with reporting requirements with the SEC. Ms Loken has provided reviews and analysis of the 10K and 10Q filings and works with her clients to ensure the timely and accurate filing of all required reports.
In addition to receiving her license as a certified public accountant, Ms. Loken has also received her credentials as a Certified Information Systems Auditor, Certified Information Technology Professional and Certified Community Bank Internal Auditor. Each of these credentials provides a unique perspective on the audit environment as well as the business office and procedural requirements within the bank community. Ms. Loken understands the internal requirements of operating within this highly regulated climate.
Ms. Loken strives to provide her clients with an efficient and effective audit while clearly communicating new requirements. She has assisted in the training of staff within the VTD offices to ensure consistency and quality with every engagement.
Ms. Loken is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA) and the Information Systems Auditing and Control Association
