Ms. Siegmund-Yuhas is a California Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Financial Forensic Analyst, and a partner with VTD. With over twenty- eight years experience in public accounting, Ms. Siegmund-Yuhas has provided accounting, audit, and advisory services as well as litigation support services to clients in the banking, credit union, investment advisors, retail, non-profit, manufacturing, and distributions industries.
Prior to joining VTD in 1999, Ms. Siegmund-Yuhas spent over sixteen years with a “Big 4” international accounting firm working with public and privately-held corporations. She has expanded those experiences with VTD as the Chair of the Financial Institutions Practice Group, Technical Advisor for the Commercial Practices Industry Group and is the Firm’s SEC advisor. In this capacity she is one of the primary resources to our partners as well as our clients on changes in the regulatory environment. Ms. Yuhas is the liaison between the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) and VTD.
Ms. Siegmund-Yuhas’ wide range of clients includes financial institutions where she has provided attest services on initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions and regulatory filings as well as annual audit services. She also serves manufacturing and retail corporations, broker dealers and has assisted with start-up business by providing financial and operational advisory services.
Ms. Siegmund-Yuhas is a recognized instructor in areas related to accounting and business development, teaching in the Business Department of a Community College, providing workshops and regulatory accounting updates to her clients and being one of the primary in-house instructors within VTD’s professional development courses.
Ms. Siegmund-Yuhas is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts (NACVA) and the California State Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA).
